We have evolved our Chrome STORM™ COBRA to the next level. Now with three-layer waterproof, breathable twill nylon to keep you dry. We designed it with the innovative CHROME REVEAL RAGLAN™ pattern, allowing for mobility and reflective visibility while on the bike, but disappearing when relaxed off the bike. We've also lengthened the arms and torso and and added a rear stow pocket, updating every detail to create the ultimate urban riding shell.

A serious improvement
The second incarnation of the Cobra is a huge hike up in quality from its predecessor. In fact, it's puzzling why Chrome have even stayed with the Cobra nomenclature. The original Cobra, although benefitting from pit zips, has a 'feel' of a 1980's orange bivvy bag, and this did little to help it's breathability. As such, any stated hydrostatic head rating was irrelevant when one was bathed in sweat. The Cobra 2.0 jacket is a totally different fellow. Despite the lack of venting, the breathability is excellent; I used this one in a tropical downpour cycling in Kyoto this summer and it didnt let me down. One downside I found is the lack of skirt drawcords that, with the higher strap position of a messenger bag, does allow for a little ballooning on speedy descents. Otherwise a very satisfied customer.
